Dimension Sound Studios is the reincarnation of a classic Boston recording facility of the same name, open from the 1950′s to the late 1980′s. In early 2011, partners Tom Dube, Matt Malikowski, and Dan Cardinal, all Boston based studio and touring engineers, decided to give the old space a fresh start. While maintaining a lot of the original vibe, Dimension received a technical overhaul. It now has a 32 input Pro Tools HD system, with an uncompromising microphone and outboard gear selection. An 1891 Steinway Model A grand piano was brought in, and two additional isolation rooms were constructed.

Dimension Sound Studios is located in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston, an area rich in culture and community. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance of the studio, and it is accessible by public transportation.
